A WOMAN from Haslington who went missing last Friday has been found safe and well.

Sandra Almond was last seen on the Cobbles in Sandbach town centre on the afternoon of September 25 and concerns for her safety grew over the weekend.

Officers had launched a search for the 49-year-old woman and yesterday were still to trying to find her whereabouts, urging anyone with information to get in touch, while also appealing to Sandra to make contact with her family.

This morning Cheshire Police said Sandra had been found safe and well and thanked people for sharing their appeal.
