A car crashed into a bus at a stop outside a supermarket in Crewe, with no serious injuries reported.

On Wednesday 11 September, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident outside Aldi, Nantwich Road.

At 3.20pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a black Mercedes collided with a stationary bus while at a stop, heading towards Nantwich.

The Mercedes hit the bus at slow speed, causing only minor damage,

Local residents supported the male car driver to ensure he was okay. The scene was cleared by 4.15pm.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: At 3.20pm on Wednesday 11 September police were called to reports of a collision on Nantwich Road, Crewe.

"Officers attended the scene and found a black Mercedes had collided with a bus outside Aldi.

The male Mercedes driver sustained no serious injuries. The scene was cleared by 4.15pm (Cheshire Police).

"There were no reports of any injuries and the scene was cleared by 4.15pm."
