Man suffers broken jaw in serious assault near Nantwich nightclub
A man suffered a broken jaw after being seriously assaulted near to a Nantwich nightclub - taking place during the early hours of the morning.
The incident on Welsh Row, Nantwich, close to Nakatchas - happened at around 2am on Sunday 16 April.
A man was punched in the face, causing him to sustain a broken jaw and was seen lying in the road.
On patrol Cheshire Police officers were soon made aware of the assault - quickly arriving at the scene.
The man was supported by North West Ambulance Service paramedics and taken to hospital.
Enquiries into the Nantwich assault are ongoing - with no arrests being made at this time.
On Monday 17 April, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.
A spokesperson said: "At around 2am on Sunday 16 April officers on patrol in Nantwich were made aware that a man had been been assaulted near a nightclub on Welsh Row.
"Officers attended and found the victim had been punched in the face causing him to sustain a broken jaw.
"Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101, or to visit the website quoting IML 1525081."
