A 36-year-old man has pleaded guilty to two counts of having a dog dangerously out of control at Crewe Magistrates' Court - after his pets killed another dog.
Stuart Foster, of The Uplands, Runcorn, was walking his two German shepherds, called Nuke and Demon - off the lead at a Town Park, Runcorn in 2021.
The two German shepherds ran towards a woman and attacked her small dog which was on a lead.
This small dog died during the attack - with the incident being reported by the woman to Halton Council.
Foster appeared at Crewe Magistrates' Court this month (December) in relation to the incident.
The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to two counts of having a dog dangerously out of control in public.
Sentencing was adjourned to February 7, 2023 - where an application for a "contingent" destruction order for Nuke will be heard.
This means the German Shepherd could be put down if it is not kept under full control.
Foster's other dog, Demon, is likely to be subject to a similar order, if found.
The man was released on bail with conditions to keep Nuke under control - including using a lead and muzzle when out in public.
