Man, 19, charged with child sex offences to appear in Crewe court

A man will appear in Crewe court after Cheshire Police's Online Child Abuse Investigation Team (OCAIT) charged a man with multiple child sex offences.
Thomas Avery, 19 of no fixed abode in Manchester, previously of Wilmslow, has been charged with 36 offences.
These including causing a child to engage in penetrative sexual activity, making indecent images of children, inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and threatening to share intimate photographs or films.
Avery's charges relate to an investigation into offences which occurred between October 2024 and April 2025, involving 27 victims across the UK.
He has since been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 7 July.
