Man charged following the discovery of 'large' cannabis farm in Crewe

A MAN has been charged after a cannabis farm was discovered in Crewe.

Edlir Zorbaj, 37, of no fixed address, was arrested in Badger Avenue at around 11.15am yesterday (Tuesday).

He has since been charged with production of a Class B drug.

Officers discovered the cannabis farm after visiting an address in Badger Avenue that morning.

A large quantity of cannabis plants inside the address were seized by officers, as was cultivation equipment.

Zorbaj appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court, via a video link, today (January 27). He was remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, February 24.
