Man, 39, arrested in Crewe town centre after 'exposing himself' to public
A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of exposure, following a serious incident in Crewe town centre.
On Tuesday 12 November, Cheshire Police were alerted by members of the public in Market Square, reporting an "unknown man" had been exposing himself.
At around 2.34pm, patrols conducted a search of the town centre, in attempt to locate the individual.
Following enquiries, officers found the man in question, arresting him for the exposure offence.
He has since been released on conditional bail, pending. further enquiries.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 2.34pm on Tuesday 12 November, patrols in Crewe were flagged down by members of the public, who reported to them an unknown man had been witnessed exposing himself.
"Officers attended the scene on Market Square and conducted a search from the man.
"Following enquiries, officers quickly located and arrested a 39-year-old local man on suspicion of exposure.
"He has since been released on conditional bail.
