Man, 30, arrested on suspicion of assault following Crewe domestic incident

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault, following a domestic incident in Crewe over the weekend.

On Sunday 7 September, Cheshire Police were called to reports of a domestic at an address on Holland Street.

At 7.40pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a woman had been assaulted.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and currently remains in police custody.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7.40pm on Sunday 7 September, police were called to reports of a domestic incident on Holland Street, Crewe.

"Officers attended and a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.

"He remains in custody at this time."
