A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis, following a police raid in Crewe.

On Wednesday 25 September, Cheshire Police executed a warrant at an address on Badger Avenue, close to Minshull New Road.

At around 9am, officers entered the property, finding criminal property an offensive weapon and cannabis.

A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of the listed offences.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis (Cheshire Police).

He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "On the morning of Wednesday 25 September, a warrant was executed at an address in Badger Avenue in Crewe.

"A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.

"He has since been bailed pending further enquiries."
