Man, 21, charged with possession of knife and Class B drugs at Crewe Railway Station

A Manchester man has been bailed to appear in court this February, after being charged with possession of a knife and Class B drugs at Crewe Railway Station.

On Thursday 8 January, Cheshire Police conducted a number of stop checks from the Cheshire transport hub, resulting in six successful cannabis swoops.

Of these six, five people were issued with community resolutions, with one man, aged 21, arrested for more serious offences.

Fahmi appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday 9 January, where he was bailed to next appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 10 February.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "On Thursday 8 January, officers from Crewe Local Policing Unit, supported by the police dogs, conducted a number of stop checks at Crewe Train Station.

"There were six positive stop-checks as a result of operation, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of cannabis.

"Of the six, A 21-year-old man was arrested, while five people were issued with community resolutions.

"Aymen Fahmi, of Brunswick Street, Manchester, has since been charged with possession of a knife in a public place, possession of Class B drugs (cannabis) and resisting arrest.

"He appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on Friday 9 January and was bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 10 February."

Why do the police arrest someone,
Charge them for a criminal offence.
Then bail them to appear at court later on knowing full well they more than likely won't turn up,
Then ask the public have you seen this person he's skipped bail.
Then apply for an arrest warrant.
Why not charge the criminal there and then or the next day.
The mind boggles.😂😂
