A section of a major road in Crewe is closed until next week, with temporary three-way traffic lights also installed on the edge of the town centre.
Flag Lane, between Richard Moon Street and Delamere Street/Harrison Drive, closed around 7pm on Tuesday 10 September.
It is expected to reopen on Tuesday 17 September.
Scottish Power Renewable energy is responsible for the closure, allowing utility repair and maintence works to take place.
The energy company is also responsible for three-way traffic signals installed on the corner of Flag Lane/Hightown and Hightown/ Victoria Street junction.
These maintence works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 18 September.
A footpath closure is in place on Hightown outside the old Limelight club.
The zebra crossing on Flag Lane, by Browning Street Car Park, is also temporarily out of action until the works are complete.
