A major British fashion retailer is planning to close its Crewe town centre store - aiming to relocate to a different unit within the town.

Select Fashion, Earle Street, placed closing down signs in its shop windows on Wednesday (February 22).

Smaller signs have also been placed in the shop windows saying it will be relocating to another unit in Crewe.

On social media, a worker at Crewe's Select Fashion confirmed there was no official closing date yet for Select Fashion, Earle Street (Ryan Parker).

The worker said Select was unsure where it was planning to relocate in Crewe - but would make sure everyone is aware when it does.

Select Fashion relocated from Market Street to the former Ethel Austin unit on Earle Street in 2015.

Select Fashion, Earle Street, has products including clothing, accessories and footwear - with some options for children (Neil Southern).

As of 2023, Select Fashion operates over 135 stores across the UK.

The women's clothingchain was founded in the early 1980s.

It has products including clothing, accessories and footwear - with some options for children.

The nearest Select Fashion store to Crewe is Select Fashion, Bennett Precinct, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

Select Fashion relocated from Market Street to the former Ethel Austin unit on Earle Street in 2015 (Neil Southern).

Crewe Nub News has contacted Select Fashion for comment on its planned closure and relocation.
