Truck overturns in collision incident on Crewe bypass

A truck overturned in a serious two-vehicle collision in Crewe this morning (Friday 31 May), with no reports of any injuries.

On Friday 31 May, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on the A500 Shavington Bypass, by Jack Mills Way.

At 7:10am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a collision involving two vehicles.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the A500 Shavington Bypass collision (Google).

One of the vehicles involved, a truck, overturned onto the highway.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident, with the section of A500 closed for around 90 minutes.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7:10am on Friday 31 May, police were called to reports of a collision on Jack Mills Way, Shavington.

"The collision involved two vehicles, one of which had overturned.

The section of A500 was closed for around 90 minutes, reopening at 8:35am (Cheshire Police).

"There are not believed to be reports of any injuries.

"The road was closed while the incident was dealt with but reopened around 8.35am."
