A popular Crewe flooring store is celebrating a record breaking end-of-year, meaning bookings for January are higher than usual.

United Carpets, Nantwich Road, is going through a purple patch for trade.

Manager and owner, Eddie Davies, told Nub News: "November and early December are typically busy, as everyone wants their home at its best for Christmas, but this year we've been run off our feet.

"Whilst there are still some fitting slots available before Christmas, anyone wanting to book these needs to move quickly.

"I've had a word with them, but just can't get the fitters to work 24 hours a day."

Once the Christmas rush is over, there is no down time for staff at United Carpets as the new stock ordered for January is on its way.

M Davies added: "It's a big shop, but finding the best places for these huge rolls takes some planning.

United Carpets are a sponsor of Crewe Alexandra Football Club (Nub News).

"Although, all of the work getting them on to the displays saves on gym membership."

If you need to discuss carpets, laminate, LVT or vinyl flooring, pop in to United Carpets, open seven days per week. Alternatively, call: 01270 210 371.
