Hybrid Services is set to add "vibrant and engaging design" to Crewe Alex FC's main function suite, after becoming the club's official printer partner.

The Crewe-based company is the exclusive Mimaki distributor for the UK and Ireland and has signed a three-year deal to provide technology and expert support to the Alex's printing operations.

As part of the agreement, the main function suite at Mornflake Stadium has been renamed The Hybrid Lounge.

Hybrid has been located on Gateway in Crewe since 2006 (Ryan Parker).

Hybrid directors, Peter Mitchell and Phil Thomas, said: "It is very exciting to become more involved with our local football club. Many of the Hybrid team live in and around the Crewe area.

"Mimaki's broad range of printing technology will enable the club's marketing team to investigate new creative avenues, including opportunities that include signage, first team and replica kits, awards and décor.

"We will be starting by decorating The Hybrid Lounge.

"As a showcase for both the club and the capabilities of Mimaki's printing and cutting solutions, it is the perfect opportunity to add some vibrant and engaging design to a popular area of the stadium."

The main function suite at Mornflake Stadium has been renamed The Hybrid Lounge (Crewe Alex).

Hybrid has a strong connection with South Cheshire. Founded in 1996 and originally based in Nantwich, the firm moved to Gateway in 2006, where it has remained since.

Mornflake Stadium is visible from the Hybrid showroom and offices.

Crewe Alex head of commercial, James Beckett, said: "I am delighted about our exciting new partnership with Hybrid.

"We have wide-ranging printing requirements and we are keen to explore how we can expand our capabilities.

Room hire of the Hybrid Lounge is from £375, with the room available for anything from weddings to corporate functions. The room can seat 250 people.
