CREWE-BASED community radio station The Cat has launched a new podcast.

The 'In Case You Missed It' podcast is a digest of the guest interviews and local news stories that have featured on The Cat in recent days.

Chris Cadman, Managing Director of The Cat said: "Adding this new Podcast service allows us to give more, potentially in-depth coverage, to vast array of things happening locally.

"There are lots of new podcasts lined up including local sports, business, local events and much more. This continues to be an exciting time for us here at The Cat as we are working with Ofcom as part of its plans to extend community radio DAB services.

"We hope to offer The Cat on DAB in the not too distant future."
