THE pandemic has had a big impact on the jobs market and these are difficult times for job seekers.

But there are still job opportunities available in the Crewe area which we have listed in the Crewe Nub News jobs section.

Every week, we are showcasing a job opportunity in the Crewe area. This week we have a role for a Community Support Worker with Belong.

The Belong at Home service delivers bespoke home care packages to customers within the community or within the company's village apartments, offering support from companionship, preparations of meals, bathing, getting ready for the day ahead, medication and domestic support.

Social and recreational needs are also a large part of the service.

You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic and professional, with good communication skills and, most importantly, have an approach to care that provides everyone with the opportunity to enjoy a pleasurable and meaningful lifestyle.

Applicants will need to have a full driving licence and access to a car (travel time will be paid), as well as being flexible over working hours as the role involves visiting customers in their own homes throughout the day, mornings, afternoons, evenings and at weekends.

As well as paid travel time, there will be paid training and induction as well as a paid DBS check.
