THE pandemic has had a big impact on the jobs market and these are difficult times for job seekers.

But there are still job opportunities available in the Crewe area which we have listed in the Crewe Nub News jobs section.

Every week, we are showcasing a job opportunity in the Crewe area.

This week we feature a role for an online retail assistant at St.Paul's Centre.

The Hightown-based charity does fantastic work in the community running a furniture re-use scheme, as well as a food bank, St. Paul's Pantry.

The charity's Friday furniture sale has restarted and runs from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

To boost its retail offer the centre has recently launched an eBay shop to back up that work and wants to hire some expert help.

It says the role, which would initially be for six months, would suit someone who is keen to use their experience of online selling to raise funds that support the work of the re-use scheme that helps people in need in our local community.

Hours are 20 hours per week and candidates must have:

  • Experience of managing an eBay account
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and customer services skills
