INCIDENT: Road closed after car and lorry collide in Crewe

A major road in Crewe is closed, after car and lorry collided with one another close to the cemetery.

On Thursday 14 November, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on Broad Street, close to its junction with Ford Lane.

At around 1.04pm, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a Total Cargo lorry and red car had collided with one another.

Police closed a section of Broad Street, between Ford Lane and Reid Street, which will remain so until both vehicles are cleared.

No one was injured in the collision, with no arrests made.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 1.04pm today (Thursday 14 November), police were called to a collision involving a car and a lorry on Broad Street.

"No one is injured. Both vehicles will be recovered from the road."
