UPDATE: Man, 84, seen by paramedics after Toyota overturns in Crewe

A car overturned on a quiet housing estate in Crewe, with emergency services rushing to the scene last week.

Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on Henley Road, Wychwood Park, Weston, at 10.29am on Thursday 16 January.

North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended, discovering a Toyota RAV4 had flipped.

A Toyota RAV4 came off the road, drove through a nearby hedge and hit a lamp post before overturning (Nub News).

The driver of the vehicle, an 84-year-old local man, did not sustain any injuries during the incident,]

He was taken to Leighton Hospital as a precaution. No arrests were made.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At around 10.29am on Thursday 16 January, police in Crewe responded to reports of a road traffic incident in Weston.

"Attending the scene, officers found that a white Toyota RAV4, had come off the road, drove through a nearby hedge and hitting a lamppost before overturning.
