INCIDENT: A500 blocked after car overturns and lorry crashes into tree
The A500 Shavington Bypass is currently blocked after a car overturned and a lorry crashed into a tree in a major incident near Crewe this morning.
Around 8.56am, Cheshire Police received reports of a collision involving a HGV and a car.
There are no reports of any injuries, with the section of A500 closed while recovery takes place.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 8.56am on Friday 29 November, police were called to a collision on the A500, Barthomley, near Crewe.
"Officers attended and found the collision involved two vehicles, a HGV and a car.
"There are no reports of any injuries, but the road is currently closed while recovery work is undertaken."
