Improvement works underway at closed Crewe pub ready for reopening

Improvement works are currently underway at a closed down Crewe pub, with the venue targeted to reopen at the end of May.
The Kings Arms, Earle Street, has been shuttered since late January, after landlady Julie left the venue.
Now, the pub, situated between Crewe town centre and Grand Junction Retail Park, is getting a new lease of life from Stonegate Group.

The Kings Arms will is having essential repairs carried out to the roof, along with new front doors and a number of replacement windows.
This May, Stonegate is working on a "light refurbishment" of The Kings Arms' interior, installing new furniture and fresh paintwork, along with new window coverings.
The manager's flat is also seeing a full redecoration, including new floor coverings.
A Stonegate Group spokesperson told Nub News: "Stonegate Group remains committed to investing in our leased and tenanted estate and we are pleased to confirm improvement works are underway at the Kings Arms in Crewe.
"The planned works include essential external repairs to the roof, new front doors, and some replacement windows.

"Inside, the pub will receive a light refurbishment with new furniture, window coverings, fresh paintwork, and a full redecoration of the manager's flat, including new floor coverings.
"The works are expected to be completed by the end of May. The pub will reopen with a new publican."
