Haslington man, 32, dies in hospital following fatal motorcycle crash

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a fatal crash in South Cheshire, where a local motorbike rider died.

At 12.49am on Saturday 24 May, police were called to reports of a collision on Ashley Close, Winterley. 

The collision involved a red Lexmoto Valiant motorcycle. 

The rider, a 32-year-old man from the Haslington area, suffered serious injuries. He was taken to Leighton Hospital and was sadly pronounced dead. 

The crash on Ashley Close, Winterley, involved a red Lexmoto Valiant motorcycle, with the rider later passing away (Cheshire Police).

Officers are in the early stages of their investigation and are appealing for any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to get in touch with them, as well as anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage which captured what happened. 

Inspector, Steve Griffiths, said: "As part of our investigation into the circumstances of this tragic incident, we would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed what happened and has not already spoken to police to get in touch with us.

"The same goes for anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage.

"You can report information via the website or call 101, quoting IML-2096458.

"Our thoughts remain with the man's family and friends at this sad time."
