LOCAL photographer Jonathan White captured an impressive gallery of Halloween fun as he took his camera out on Sunday night (October 31).
Despite the weather the trick or treaters were out in force and Jonathan managed to find a few parties too amid the impressive decorations.
"I particularly liked the expertly-carved pumpkins at houses on Teal Way at the new Wistaston Brook estate in Wistaston and there were some great creepy movie characters and a giant spider at homes in Prunus Road," said Jonathan.
"A special mention also to the annual window displays at Blitz Fireworks in Crewe, which are always terrifying."
Local events held in Crewe over Halloween included:
- Friends of Queens Park and Creative Crewe held a Halloween Crafts event at Queens Park which included a Park Trail with goodie bag prizes, Halloween crafts, face painting, games and a fancy dress parade.
- members of the Love on the Rocks Crewe, Willaston, Wistaston and Nantwich Facebook group placed painted Halloween pebbles within Queens Park and other areas.
- there was a Pumpkin Heroes Trail in Shavington had three different walkable trails to follow though the village.
