MEMBERS of the 'Queens Park Crewe - The People's Park' Facebook group have put together a 2022 Calendar featuring photographs of Queens Park on Victoria Avenue in Crewe throughout all the seasons of the year.

The photographs were all submitted by members of the Group, who have shown their photographic talent within the popular Grade II listed public park, which opened in 1887. The 'Queens Park Crewe - The People's Park' Facebook group allows its members to share photos and comments about the town's great asset.

All profits raised from the sale of the calendar will go towards 'The Friends of Queens Park' volunteer group who are fundraising to set up a new feeding area for the wildlife.

The Friends of Queens Park are a group of volunteers, who support the park by raising awareness about the park and the facilities, whilst promoting opportunities for involvement.

The group's 2021 calendar raised an impressive £3,600, which has gone towards the refurbishment of the play area in the park.

Diane Scoffin, Queens Park Crewe - The People's Park, said: "After the success of last year's calendar, members of the group soon started asking if there was going to be another one this year.

"There are hundreds of amazing photos posted throughout the year, so for us to choose just 13 was not an easy task. We would like to thank Inprint Colour Ltd from Crewe for their help and expertise and, of course, Park Life Café."

The 2022 Calendar is on sale for £10 and is available from the Park Life Café within Queens Park during opening hours.

Park Life Café is once again generously contributing an extra £5 for every calendar sold in the café.
