Firefighters rush to tackle kitchen blaze at Crewe property

On Wednesday 27 September, firefighters received reports of an incident on Wistaston Park, off Broughton Lane (Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service).

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters rushed to tackle a kitchen blaze, located inside a Crewe property.

On Wednesday 27 September, firefighters received reports of an incident on Wistaston Park, off Broughton Lane.

At around 10:29am, one fire engine from Nantwich and one from Penketh arrived at the scene.

Crews used a hose reel and quickly put out the kitchen blaze.

No injuries were reported in the incident, with the Wistaston Park property only suffering minor damage (Google).

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A hose reel jet was used by firefighters to put out a small fire in the kitchen of a property."
