By Gwyn Griffiths 27th Aug 2021

FIREFIGHTERS put out a blaze which broke out in a garden in Crewe last night.

They were called out shortly before 10pm to tackle a fire involving a quantity of waste, including pallets, carpet and a mattress.

One fire engine from Crewe Fire Station attended and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, spending around 45 minutes at the scene. No-one was injured.
