Fire crews tackle tumble dryer blaze at house in Crewe

Fire crews tackled a blaze at a house in Crewe, believed to have been caused by a tumble dryer.
On Sunday 10 August, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident on Lansdowne Road.
At 5.31pm, two fire engines from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering flames coming from a utility room.
Crewe firefighters used a hose reel jet to the tackle the blaze, containing it within the one room of the home.

The tumble dryer was removed from the home and taken outside.
No one was injured in the incident, with all house occupants accounted for.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Fire crews were called to a fire in a utility room at a house in Crewe.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to tackle the fire, which is believed to have involved a tumble dryer.
"Crews removed the affected appliance outside.
"The fire was contained to the utility room and all occupants of the house were accounted for."
