Fire crews called to 'accidental' car and van blaze in Crewe

Fire crews tackled a serious blaze involving a car and a van in Crewe, believed to have been started accidentally.
On Wednesday 12 November, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to an incident on Hope Street.
At 7.49pm, two fire engines from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering a van and a car well-alight.
Crewe firefighters used two hose reel jets to put out the flames.

They then ensured the blaze hadn't spread to any other vehicles or properties with a thermal imaging camera.
No one was injured in the incident, with emergency services satisfied there was no foul play.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish a fire involving a car and a van.
"A thermal imaging camera was then used to ensure the fire had not spread to any nearby vehicles or property.
"The fire is believed to have started accidentally."
