Female pedestrian seriously injured by motorcyclist in Crewe hit-and-run

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run incident in Crewe, leaving a female pedestrian seriously injured.
At 12.30pm on Sunday 4 January, a woman in her 50s was crossing the pedestrian crossing on Flag Lane near to its junction with St Mary's Street when a Sur-Ron style electric motorbike hit her.
The rider didn't stop at the scene and was last seen travelling through the town towards Earle Street.
The motorcyclist was described as male and wearing black clothing. He had a rucksack on his back.

PC Ian Smith said: "I'd urge anyone with dash cam footage of the bike in question or the collision itself to contact police.
"The same goes for anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police, or has any information on the incident or identity of the rider."
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 2245538.
Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
