Famous UK singer-songwriter to play in huge Crewe celebrity charity football match

An impressive list of celebrities are set to feature in a huge Crewe Alex charity football match, including famous artist James Arthur.

The 2012 X-Factor winning will be taking part in Sellebrity Soccer at Mornflake Stadium on Sunday 15 October.

Kicking off at 3pm, the famous line-up will include Love Island's Ouzy, Ricky Groves, Dan Osbourne, Calum Best, Dean Gaffney and Jake Wood.

All funds raised from Sellebrity Soccer will go to Cheshire's St Luke's Hospice and The Matilda Foundation (Crewe Alex).

Crewe legends like current development manager Kenny Lunt, Colin Little, David Wright and Nicky Maynard will also be involved in the fixture fundraiser.

A Sellebrity Soccer statement read: "We are pleased to announce James Arthur confirms for our huge celebrity charity match at Crewe Alexandra Football Club for St Luke's Hospice Cheshire and The Matilda Foundation."

The charity football match takes place the day after Crewe host Tranmere Rovers in League Two.
