A Crewe eatery has been awarded the 'Best Takeaway' in Cheshire for 2026, by England's Business Awards Show.

Get Smash'd, Nantwich Road, was handed the award at Radisson Blu Hotel, Manchester Airport, on 31 May.

This award comes 20 months after Get Smash'd first launched in Crewe South, a five-minute walk from Crewe Railway Station..

Owner of Get Smash'd, Jamal Rasool, told Nub News: "A lot of people voted for us as the best takeaway in Cheshire for 2026,

"We are really proud to get this award, there is a lot of competition in Crewe and the wider area.

"This is a family business that we built from scratch. It is hard work in this climate but awards like this make it all worth it.

"At Get Smash'd, we have an open kitchen, with customers able to see us freshly prepare our food. Our burger patties are smashed from raw and we get great reviews for them.

"Crewe has been really good to us. It is a busy place, especially on Nantwich Road, it's a good town for business overall.

"Our most popular items are smashed burgers, stir fry doner, chicken tenders and wings.

"We strive to serve high quality takeaway food and believe that is why we have received this award."

Get Smash'd exclusively told Nub News it is expanding to launch a brand new Winsford branch at the end of August.

The Nantwich Road business is open 4.30pm to 11.30pm, Monday to Sunday.
