Experienced repair technician launches new shop in Crewe Town Centre
By Ryan Parker 25th Jan 2026
An experienced repair technician has launched a new shop in Crewe Town Centre, selling refurbished mobile phones, laptops and more - along with gadget repairs.
JC Mobiles, Queensway, opened its doors in January 2026, located in-between Timpson and Beautonic Hair Beauty Aesthetics.
Operated by Jozko Copak, originally from Slovakia and a Crewe resident since 2007, JC Mobiles promises to be one of the cheapest mobile stores between Crewe and Manchester.
Jozko told Nub News: "At JC Mobiles, I sell anything from Apple and android phones to laptops, iPads and accessories.
"I also repair anything from phones to gaming computers (the latter I started out fixing first).
"Having lived in Crewe for around 18 years now, I know the area well and have been an IT technician since I left college.
"I started by fixing laptops and computers and worked my way up to fixing phones, which is where the idea for JC Mobiles came from.

"I worked at TMT First for a few years, which is a repair centre accredited by Apple, Samsung and Microsoft in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
"It only employs well-trained electronics technicians and I spent two weeks in London beforehand to complete all my certificates for the role.
"Following TMT, I worked for a few local companies and realised the nine till five job wasn't really for me, so I created by own business.
"Over time, I have built up a lot of friendships with a number of electronics companies and have a contract with Likewise, where I buy broken phones and refurbish them to all the correct tested criteria and sell them here.
"Because I have the skills to fix everything myself rather than outsourcing, my prices are likely the cheapest between here and Manchester.
"I have plenty of experience and have been selling phones online for a while, with people from the likes of Crewe and even Manchester coming to get them.
'The next step was this new shop and I am delighted to be here in Crewe Town Centre and hope to see new customers soon.
"I hope the new temporary park opposite me, which will open in the summer of 2026, will improve the visual look of the town centre and encourage more people to come here again."
JC Mobiles is open on Queensway from 10am to 5pm, (Monday to Saturday).
