DO you know Crewe Nub News has a growing What's On section?

We aim to provide a directory of a range of events across Crewe with the accent on those that are looming on the horizon, although we also publicise events further in the future as well.

If you are a pub or venue hosting a live show, a gig, a quiz or karaoke night or anything that will bring customers in through the doors we want to hear about it.

We will happily take listing from clubs, sport teams, churches and community groups too.

You just need to click on our Nub It button here.

Every week we highlight an event on our What's On section, which is sponsored by the White Lion at Weston.

This week it's at Crewe Market Hall, which is putting on a two-night Crewe Homecoming featuring Meg Lee and Oli Ng.

Meg and Oli took part in Crewe Live in April to publicise the reopening of the Hall when their performances were streamed to an online audience.

Now both should get a big live following with Meg appearing on Friday night and Oli on Saturday night.

Meg's modern take on jazz has seen her secure residencies at the Crown Hotel in Nantwich and Bar 6 at Sandbach.

Crewe-based Oli's unique approach has been influenced by artists like Bruce Springsteen, The Gaslight Anthem and Tom Petty and he has toured around the UK, both as a solo artist and with his band.

Meg is in on stage at 7.30pm on Friday and has support from Erin Gilbert, while Oli headlines on Saturday night with Sean Lawton supporting.
