Emergency services were deployed to Crewe town centre on Tuesday evening (March 3), after a man wanted in relation to a prison licence recall fled from police and climbed onto a roof.
Around 8pm, Cheshire Police, North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service descended on Earle Street after the 21-year-old got onto a roof.
Earlier that day at 5.55pm, the man had been stopped by officers on Vernon Way, but fled the scene.
Police taped off a section of Earle Street and Hill Street while dealing with the incident.

Officers were witnessed entering The Cheese Hall pub, closing off the beer garden to the public.
The man, who walked across the roof of multiple town centre businesses, was later brought to safety and arrested.
