Drug driver arrested for driving while disqualified in Crewe

A man has been arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified, drug driving and being in possession of class A drugs, following a police stop in Crewe.

On Saturday 30 March, police were alerted to a vehicle on Victoria Avenue, attempting to pull it over.

At 7pm, officers successfully stopped the vehicle, arresting the driver on suspicion of three offences.

The man, 34, has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 7pm on Saturday 30 March, police attempted to stop a vehicle on Victoria Avenue.

"A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified, drug driving, and possession of class A drugs. 

"He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries."
