Drivers warned of long delays on M6 between Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe

Drivers are being warned of long delays on the M6 northbound this afternoon after traffic was briefly stopped.
Motorists can expect up to 60 minutes of delays between J15 Stoke-on-Trent and J16 at Crewe, according to National Highways.
This delay comes following a Central Motorway Police incident around 2:35pm.
Traffic is now moving, but the J16 north exit slip remains closed.
