Mercedes driver reported following serious collision incident in Crewe

Emergency services rushed to attend a serious two-vehicle collision in Crewe, a Mercedes driver reported for driving without due care and attention.

On Friday 15 December, Cheshire Police received reports of an incident on Valley Road.

At 8:07am, officers arrived at the scene, discovering a black Mercedes E220 had collided with a silver Ford Focus.

The Valley Road collision involved a black Mercedes E220 and a silver Ford Focus (Google).

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service attended to provide casualty care to those involved and make the vehicles safe.

As a precautionary measure, the casualties were handed over in to the care of the North West Ambulance Service paramedics.

No arrests were made from the incident, with those involved only suffering minor injuries.

The driver of the Mercedes was reported for driving without due care and attention.

The driver of the Mercedes E220 was reported for driving without due care and attention (Cheshire Police).

Valley Road was fully cleared by 9:44am, over 90 minutes after the incident.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 8.07am on Friday 15 December, police were called reports of a collision on Valley Road.

"Officers attended and found the incident involved two cars, a silver Ford Focus and a black Mercedes E220.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries, but paramedics were called as a precautionary measure. Firefighters were also called to the scene.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service attended to provide casualty care to those involved and make the vehicles safe (Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service).

"No arrests were made but the driver of the Mercedes has been reported for driving without due care and attention.

"The road was cleared at 9:44am."
