CREWE pharmacists have been praised for setting up their second vaccination 'pop-up' in a masonic hall.
Crewe and Nantwich MP Kieran Mullan paid a visit to the Acacia Suite at Willaston Masonic Hall, which is being run by Raj Patel's Hollowood Chemists in West Street
Raj teamed up with Roger Morris to establish a successful vaccination centre opposite the chemist shop at his good friend's business, Crewe Honda Centre.
Back in May the MP visited what was then the first 'pop-up' centre in the area.
After Raj learnt there was a demand for a jab centre in Willaston village, Roger suggested the Acacia Suite as a suitable venue.
The MP said: "It is absolutely amazing to see the work of all involved at this second vaccination centre set up by Raj and Janil Patel.
"Further more I would like to personally thank all the directors of the South Cheshire Masonic Hall for kindly donating the hall.
"It really was brilliant to see and hear about the amount of people coming through the doors over the past two months and it has proved to be such an integral part of being able to contribute towards the government's roadmap out of lockdown by helping to protect everyone."
Raj said: "It has been a great success. The Acacia Suite is a fantastic venue for all occasions and we are all delighted that it is being used for such an important role in getting life back to normality.
"I would like to thank Roger for giving his own time to volunteer to set up and take down the centre as and when required."
