Delivery driver sustains 'serious' injuries in Crewe hit-and-run

Cheshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian in Crewe.
On Wednesday 28 October, an Amazon delivery driver was crossing Broad Street when a dark coloured Ford Fiesta hit him, before heading off in the direction of Remer Street.
The incident happened at 6.50pm, with the delivery driver taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A police helicopter was deployed to try and track the driver, but was unsuccessful.
Sergeant Russ Sime, of Cheshire Police, said: "I'd urge anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police and anyone with dashcam footage to contact us so that we can track down the vehicle and its driver.
"I'd also appeal directly to the driver of the Fiesta to do the right thing and contact us."
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 2447283.
