Crewe cyclist suffers 'life-threatening' injuries in crash with van

Cheshire Police are appealing for information and witnesses, following a serious crash involving a van and a cyclist in Crewe.
At around 12.51am on Sunday 22 February, officers in Crewe responded to reports of a road traffic incident on Manor Way.
Officers attended the scene, officers found that the collision occurred between a pedal cyclist and a Volkswagen Crafter van.
The cyclist, a 62-year-old local man, sustained serious injuries and was subsequently taken to Leighton Hospital, where he remains at this time.
His injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
As part of the enquiries into the incident, officers are now appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.
Police Sergeant, Jon Dixon, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Enquiries are currently underway to fully establish the circumstances of this incident.
"As part of our investigation, we are now asking anyone who has any information or witnessed the incident itself to come forward.
"I would also like to appeal to any motorists who were in the area at the time around the time of the collision or may have captured anything they believe could help our investigation on dashcam to contact us.
"Anyone with any information, CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website, or on 101, quoting IML-2275539."
