The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Crewe which saw widespread showers develop throughout today (Friday) with some thundery rain, particularly in the afternoon.

Tonight the Met Office is predicting showers becoming persistent and quite blustery over night with some locally strong winds. Cloudy skies will lead to a mild night with a minimum temperature of 11C.

On Saturday they are predicting further slow-moving showers with some locally and thundery patches, easing through the night and feeling cool for the time of year with a maximum temperature of 18C.

The outlook for Sunday to Tuesday looks set to include slow-moving showers and breezy winds becoming scattered into Monday with sunny spells possible between downpours.

Tuesday will be drier Tuesday with plenty of sunny spells but still cool for the time of year.
