A CREWE college worker who trekked the Jurassic Coast with her pals has exceeded a fundraising target.
Sioned Taylor, who works at Cheshire College Crewe Campus, completed the 'Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike' in Dorset, hiking a a 26-mile marathon with her friends, Cheryl and Louise.
The route took the trio along the stunning coastline of England's first natural World Heritage Site, taking in famous sights including Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove.
The dedicated threesome raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support, exceeding their original £750 target with a fantastic £900.
Sioned said: "This was one of the most challenging things we've ever completed - the London marathon was easy in comparison.
I don't think we had quite comprehended how steep some of the hills would be. We were lucky that the weather was good, and the views were breath-taking.
"We couldn't fault the Macmillan team who supported us along the way and kept us motivated.
"Knowing we were raising money to help people affected by cancer kept us going and we are so pleased with everyone's generous donations."
