CREWE'S Covid vaccination centre in West Street is urging the over-18s to attend a grab-a-jab event on Thursday evening.

The drop-in, run by the Hollowood Pharmacy at the Crewe Honda Centre, is open from 5 to 8.30pm tomorrow (July 15).

Roger Morris, who has turned part of his motorbike dealership over to the NHS, said: "This is another golden opportunity for anyone over the age of 18 to receive the receive the Pfizer Vaccine.

"It is for anyone over the age of 18, you do not need an NHS number, address or to be registered to a GP."

The vaccination centre will then be open across the weekend (July 17/18) from 9am and 5pm.

The centre will also administer a second Jab if it is eight weeks or over since a first Pfizer vaccination.

For further information ring 01270 213097.

There are also two pop-up vaccination clinics being held in Crewe over the next couple of days, targeting those among the 18-39 age group who have not had their first vaccination.

Run by Cheshire East Council and Cheshire CCG they will be open for as long as Pfizer vaccine supplies last and no appointments are needed.

One is at Scope House on Weston Road (opposite the Holdcroft car showroom) from midday to 6pm today.

And tomorrow (July 15) a pop-up will be held on the Grand Junction Retail Park, between Gourmet4 and TK Maxx, from midday to 8pm.
