A popular Crewe town centre venue will hold a huge pride entertainment event this weekend - hosting a wide range of live acts and activities.

Crewe Market Hall is hosting Crewe Pride Takeover on Saturday (October 22) - starting from 12pm.

The Crewe town centre venue will be filled with family-friendly entertainment - including bands and solo artists.

This year's Crewe pride entertainment act list - performing on Crewe Market Hall's main stage (Crewe Nub News).

Live music begins with Kelly Tiger Heart at 1:30pm - ending with Hayley Strangelove Is Elvesse at 5:15pm.

This year's event will be Halloween-themed and will also include stalls - located both inside and outside Crewe Market Hall and Crewe Central.

Today (October 21), Crewe Market Hall made an announcement on social media, confirming the event.

The venue said: "Join us here in Crewe Market Hall in celebrating Pride day, with a wide range of entertainment and activities.

"Expect to see a large lineup of bands, singers and other entertainment throughout the day - all in celebration or pride."

Chasing Twisters will be performing live at Crewe Market Hall on Saturday (October 22) at 8pm (Crewe Market Hall).

Later on Saturday, Chasing Twisters will be performing live at Crewe Market Hall.

The band combine their British pop and rock upbringings with their favourite American country influences.

You can expect their own twist of original modern country music - starting at 8pm.

On Sunday (October 23), Crewe Market Hall is hosting a talent show.

This year's event will be Halloween-themed and will also include stalls (Cheshire East Council).

Members of the public are invited to perform their special talent on the main stage, whether that is singing, dancing, comedy or something else.

Key sponsors for this year's Crewe pride event include Crewe-based businesses: Bentley Motors, Radius Payment Solutions and The Co-op.
