A TEENAGER from Crewe has been charged with the murder of a Winsford man.

The 17-year-old is among three teenagers charged in connection with the death of Keagan Crimes on Monday, October 12 last year.

The 27-year-old passed away after he sustained serious injuries during an incident at Cheviot Square in Winsford. Two other men, aged 26 and 36, were also injured and required hospital treatment.

Cheshire Police say following a lengthy investigation they have now charged three teenagers.

The 17-year-old from Crewe has been charged with murder, wounding with intent, unlawful wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Tuesday).

Two other boys, age 15 and 16, from Winsford, have both been charged with affray. They have both been released on conditional bail and will appear at West Cheshire Youth Court on Wednesday (June 23).

Three other teenage boys and a girl who were also arrested as part of the investigation have been released without charge.
