Crewe shop handed three-month closure order following 'illegal activity'

A closure order has been granted for a corner shop on the edge of Crewe town centre.
Infinity Mini Market, Market Street, has been handed a closure order for three months, granted at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Thursday 16 April.
This comes following reports of illegal activity including anti-social behaviour at the premises and failing to adhere to age limit restrictions when selling items.

Evidence was collated by officers in the Crewe Problem Solving and Prevention Team and the Crewe Beat Team, along with Cheshire East Trading Standards.
PC Dean Ashmore said: "We are grateful for the three-month closure order granted for this premises.
"I hope this reassures members of the public that we take their concerns seriously and act on the information provided to us to protect the communities we serve.
"Anyone with concerns about suspicious or criminal behaviour in their area can report it to Cheshire Police via the Cheshire Police website or by calling 101."
Infinity Mini Market, located across from McDonald's West Street, can reopen again from mid-July.
