Crewe Regional Sunday League: White Star grab first win in thrilling finish

WILLASTON White Star won for the first time this season amid a dramatic late finish.
White Star came from behind to snatch a 2-1 victory against Faddiley, despite missing a late penalty.
The visitors took the lead soon after half-time through Derice Richards, but Star levelled with a strike from Pavel Abramowicz.
After missing a late penalty kick late, Paul Roberts netted the winner in the dying seconds.
Betley secured a 4-2 win at Crewe Athletic with goals from Chris Towers, Jamie Baker, Simon Roberts and Keiron Duckers. Josh Dunne and Matthew Birchall scored for Crewe Athletic.
While The Lions tore into NHB with Michael Chesters, on as a first half substitute, netting a hat-trick in a 5-0 thrashing. Danny Roberts scored the other two goals and both keepers saved penalty kicks.
Premier Division leaders George and Dragon had their home game with The Raven called off and there were two casualties in Division One with fixtures off at Cuddington and Princes Feathers.
Broadhurst FC went top of Division One after making it four wins in four games with a 4-0 success over Audlem. Dom Johnson netted a brace and Dan Griffiths and Euan Jamieson also scored for the hosts.
Second-placed AFC Talbot dropped their first points of the season when they were held 2-2 by newcomers Winnington Sports Club. Lee Jones and Dan Bebbington scored for the home side, while Jordan Sherlock and Jack Duffy replied for Winnington.
C & N Utd picked up their first point with a 3-3 draw at Sydney Arms, but will rue not getting three points as they were 3-0 ahead at one stage with goals from Rees Bennett (2) and Mark Green.
Sydney Arms fought back with goals from Ben Reddock, Aaron Davies and Charlie Maines.
JS Bailey got their first points of the season with a fine 5-1 victory over Nantwich Pirates, thanks to goals from JJ Bailey, Nick Raymond, Liam Challinor, Alex Akrigg and Ben Stockton. Lewis Jackson scored for the Pirates.
Talbot travelled to Wythenshawe in the first round of the Cheshire FA Sunday Cup and pulled off an excellent 4-2 win over South Manchester Athletic , thanks to a hat-trick from Jordan Bennion and a further goal from Scott Rankine.
