A MICRO brewery in Crewe has closed its bar after customers tested positive for Covid-19.

Tom's Tap and Brewhouse in Thomas Street have told all their staff to stay away until they produce a negative test for coronavirus.

Three customers have reported positive tests. Meanwhile, other customers who were at the premises over last weekend can expect to be contacted by the NHS track and trace system.

A statement from Tom's Tap and Brewhouse said: "We have been notified that three of our customers have tested positive for Covid-19 over the weekend.

"For this reason we have requested all staff to stay away until they have a negative test. The bar will not be open until the results are known."
