CREWE Photographic Society is looking for new members as it celebrates its 75th season this year.

The Society has planned a superb programme of talks and demonstrations, starting on September 16 with an introductory evening online.

The Zoom presentations include Will Stead talking about photographing concerts while award- winning astro photographer David Tolliday will demonstrate how to make images of the night sky.

Secretary of Crewe Photographic Society Peter Robinson said: "As well as this, there are talks on landscape, sports photography and photo poker.

"Highly-acclaimed member Ian Whitson will be telling the stories behind many of his award winning photographs in his talk on the National Parks of Kenya.

"There is also a chance to view and discuss the best of the country's photographs in travelling folios."

The varied programme also includes, competitions and the ever popular members' meetings where members can discuss their work and learn from more experienced members.

The start of the season is a good time to join the Society and you can attend three meetings for free before deciding on a permanent membership.

For more information see the Society's website at crewephotosoc.com, on Twitter @crewephotosoc, Instagram or Facebook.
